Setting up Quizlix in 10 minutes

Step 1 — Sign up

Hit pubquiztool.com, click Get started, drop in an email and pick a password. No credit card needed for the trial.

Step 2 — Create your first quiz

From the dashboard, click New Quiz. Give it a title ("Tuesday Pub Quiz #1" works fine), pick a round format, and add 10 questions. Each question takes 30 seconds to type.

Step 3 — Pick the host mode

Two options: Self-paced (each team plays on their own phones at their own speed — good for relaxed nights) or Live (everyone answers in sync, host controls the pace — good for traditional pub quiz format with beamer).

Step 4 — Share the join code

Once the event is started you get a six-character code. Players type it on their phones, no app install. The host's screen shows live scores in real time.

Step 5 — Project on the beamer

Open the Beamer view on a second monitor. Questions, timer, scores all appear there for the room. The host's laptop stays on the control view.

That's it.

You ran your first quiz in under ten minutes of prep. Save the quiz, duplicate it next week, swap a few questions, repeat.
